1. Acceptance and availability

By downloading or using the application, you accept these terms and the applicable App Store end-user licence. If you do not accept them, do not use the application.

You need a compatible device and iOS version. Some features, including the Dynamic Island and Live Activity, depend on the iPhone model, iOS version, system permissions and Apple’s system-management decisions.

2. Purpose of the application

One Ayah is a Quran reading tool offering flowing words, surah and ayah navigation, translations, search, favorites, reminders and system-display features.

The application is provided as a personal aid for reading and focus. It does not replace advice from a qualified teacher, religious institution or other competent professional.

3. Quran text and translations

We take reasonable care when integrating the text and translations. Differences in interpretation, transliteration or typography, and technical errors, may nevertheless occur. Translations are interpretations of meaning and are not the original Arabic text.

If you identify an error, please report it through support so it can be reviewed and corrected.

4. Licence and permitted use

Subject to these terms, THE KF COMPANY grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the application on compatible devices in accordance with App Store rules.

• Do not bypass technical protections or interfere with the application.
• Do not copy, resell, rent or redistribute the application unless the law expressly allows it.
• Do not use the brand, interface or visual assets in a way that creates confusion about their origin.

5. Reminders and system features

Reminders, the Dynamic Island, Lock Screen and Live Activity are convenience features. Their display, duration and reliability are not guaranteed: iOS may delay, limit or end them. You remain responsible for your device settings and how you use these features.

6. Support and in-app purchases

All essential reading features are available free of charge. The application may offer optional monthly subscriptions to support the continued development of One Ayah and other applications from THE KF COMPANY.

Payment is charged to the Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before that date. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store account settings and restore an active subscription from the application.

Displayed prices, taxes and possible refunds are subject to App Store rules and applicable law. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple through its designated service.

7. Intellectual property

The application, its code, brand, visual identity, interfaces and original elements belong to THE KF COMPANY or their respective owners. Religious texts, translations, fonts and other third-party resources remain subject to their owners’ rights and licences.

8. Updates and interruption

We may change, fix, suspend or withdraw all or part of the application for technical, legal or security reasons. We aim to preserve local data during updates but cannot guarantee that no loss will occur. A general device backup remains recommended.

9. Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the application is provided “as is” and as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation or compatibility with every configuration.

THE KF COMPANY will not be liable for indirect damage, data loss or losses caused by improper use, device failure or a third-party service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or your mandatory consumer rights.

10. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the rules applicable to THE KF COMPANY, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Competent courts are determined by applicable law.

We may update these terms as the application or law evolves. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
